Paper Published in Philosophy of Science on Model Simplicty and the Epistemic Value of Uncertainty
We have a new paper in Philosophy of Science with Casey Helgeson, Klaus Keller, and Nancy Tuana. We discuss the epistemic value of simplicity as a property of models and the relevance of model simplicity for informing decision-making under uncertainty.
